42 days to go!!! Here is a picture we took last year as we were leaving Dickie Bros. Orchard with a car full of apples. It was a beautiful day and by the time we arrived at their door, we were truly in the middle of nowhere. We'll be making the trip again soon (probably the first weekend in October), but there's no telling yet what kind of apples are going to be available. We'll have to wait and see what the dry summer will leave us.

Looks like we won't be able to make it this year -- we're flying to Denver on 10/9 and will be spending the next 9 days driving around Colorado. It was the only time we could use our SkyMiles and still catch some of the fall.
